carehome.co.uk, the UK’s leading site for care home reviews. Showed highest ever traffic in March, with 1,613,251 people visiting its site.

This is a 33 per cent rise on December 2020. When the UK had entered the second wave of the pandemic. The traffic to the site was 1,206,323. In March last year, just as the UK was entering lock down, traffic to the site was 1,381,361. 17 per cent lower than March this year.

Visits now allowed again inside care homes and residents able to go on trips outside the care home. People are once again turning to residential care. As a safe place where elderly and disabled people are looked after.

The number of Covid-19 deaths in care homes has also seen a sharp decline. The UK carrying out a comprehensive vaccination program, that has seen around 95 per cent of care home residents vaccinated against Covid-19.
