This training course is based on the compliance requirements placed on Trainer Courses Ltd by the Health & Safety at Work (Etc.) Act of 1974; Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations; The Assessment & Management of Falls in Older People produced by NICE June 2013; and requirements placed on employers by industry standards. These requirements have been used as reference points for this training course.

Apart from ensuring compliance with the above, the trainer pack is useful in assisting a variety of QCF candidates with the various elements of their learning.

Target Population:All staff who may be called upon to take action with regard to prevention of falls in the course of their duties.
Course Duration: Theory = 3 Hours.
Certification: Upon successful completion of the session questionnaire and practical elements.
Number of Participants: 12 Maximum.
